Half these songs are about you… by Nizlopi has been my favourite album of the last year, and it looks like they are finally starting to make the break… I believe JCB is released for Christmas… it deserves to be No.1 – I love the song, and the lyrics are just so lovely…

Did you know that the line ‘Don’t forget your shovel …..’ comes from a song by the same name that was written by 60 year old Irish singer songwriter Christie Hennessy.
Christie recorded 4 platinum albums and then, disillusioned with the ‘music biz’ went back to work on building sites for eight years. Our indie label MVine persuaded him out of songwriting retirement to record a new album last year. The album, Stories for Sale, is released in the UK on March 17th 06 and the Irish Press are already calling it ‘Christie’s best album to date’.
