We were out for a Fireworks party on Saturday night at our friends Darren, Gail, and their little girl Ellie. A good time was had by all… kids stayed up till late which meant we paid for it on Sunday. As usual Gail put on good food and there was plenty of booze to go around. Fantastic display of fireworks, although we want 3 out of 3 Catharine Wheels next time Darren! I think there were only a couple of stray rockets and I don’t recall any falling back on us like they did last year! 🙂
Victoria supplied the pre-requisite Parkin and Black Peas, for which we take much ridicule from our southern friends, however no Bonfire night is complete without them. Next year I think we will need to add Potato Pie and some mushy peas we’ll be sorted! 🙂
