As part of our extended Wedding Anniversary celebrations, my parents had so kindly given us the money to treat ourselves to a weekend away. As we had gone camping last weekend we had decided to hit london this weekend; so we booked a table at Jamie Oliver<\/a>’s Fifteen Restaurant<\/a> for the Friday night and stayed at the Hotel Russell<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We ate in the Trattoria<\/a> part of the restaurant which was lovely. The food was gorgeous and the service excellent. We started with some Antipasti and the I had “Tagliatelle with zucchini, pancetta, chilli, garlic, mascarpone, thyme and parmigiano”<\/em> while Victoria had “The lightest potato gnocchi with Isle of Wight tomatoes, fresh basil, buffalo mozzarella and parmigiano”<\/em>… both were stunning!<\/p>\n

For main Victoria had “Fillet of wild sea trout with marinated zucchini, Sicilian cherry tomatoes, lemon cr\u00e8me fraiche and samphire”<\/em> and I had “Seared Calves Liver…”<\/em>. Both were again stunning. The Liver was so delicate and just melted in the mouth.<\/p>\n
