Funny one happened to me the other day. We’d eaten in the dining room, something we don’t do do that often anymore since the kitchen renovation was finished with the help of http://dryman.com.au, anyway Jacob had spilled most of his rice over the floor and I was busy tidying it up with a brush. While I was doing this I was thinking; the vacuum cleaner will make light work of this… A couple of days later the stairs carpet was in dire need of a clean, this was due to me stripping wallpaper from the walls, anyway after removing all the big bits, I found myself brushing the carpet down with a small brush. Same thing came to mind; the vacumn cleaner would make light work of this… Now I’m always running around the house with a Vac, got kids and they take a lof of cleaning up after! Anyway I concluded that brushing the floor rather than using the vacuum cleaner is actually very therapeutic and I intend to do it more often.

Recently i’ve found that I have a change of preference over the way I eat my toast. I’m not sure why, but I guess it comes down to the rate of age increase, but I now prefer my toast slightly colder before I put butter on it. Now I know that this has been a diet tip for a long time, as cold toast absorbs less butter, and thefore you take on less fat an calories, however for me it is purely down to taste. How odd!

I had to travel to Slough to visit out DVD mastering company yesterday. We had a few technical problems with issuing the master on a DLT VS1 tape. Anyhow, it’s the first time I’ve been in a mastering plant, and I’ve been producing CD’s for 11 years now… and the end of every project involves cutting a disk to send to MASTER.
The place is space age! The whole place is a clean room, and I had to wear white overalls, shoes covers, hair net, and face mask while I was there. All very odd. But it was fascinating watching the whole process. Actually seeing a glass master for the first time was amazing.
